Now Revealed – Discover why people fail in
their relationships and cannot handle stress, anxiety, anger,
lack self confidence and more.
I had intended to sell the following materials as an ebook
priced around about $40. But then I decided that it is better
if I distributed it as free content on my site as it would
benefit people who could not afford it or otherwise did not
make the purchase. It would be better for me – I decided –if I
really established my credentials as an expert and developed a
relationship with you – the visitor to my site. The money would
come later – as a by-product in the form of increased traffic
to my site.
The rest of this page lists down the benefits of your going
through the materials and the changes you can expect to see in
your life.
What is true happiness?
I have found the answer to this question in Eastern
Philosophy and I encourage you to do so as well.
In today’s materialistic culture one can easily mistake
happiness as being found in money, having lots of friends, a
beautiful wife (or girlfriend, or a successful and charismatic
husband), enjoying the good things of life, a flashy car, a
large house or any number of such signs of success. We chase
after some or all of these, never finding lasting happiness,
and before we know it half our life is gone in this frenzied
search.
The further you read you will begin to understand that you
have a choice. You are not compelled to live this way. You can
be free from the inside, free to really live to the full.
The Buddha was once asked to explain true happiness. He
replied-
When faced with the ups and
downs of life, Still the mind remains unshaken, Not lamenting,
not generating defilements, always feeling secure, This is the
greatest happiness.
Can you picture yourself like this? Just for a moment?
This verse contains – in my view – the essence of living
wisely. And my ebook will show you also how to attain this
state of mind.
Rare thinking people like you already know that life is
transient and unsatisfactory. What if you could learn to be
happy at most times while living in this hugely imperfect
world? This is what you will learn in this ebook.
Little by little you will become free to live and be
happy.
OK, you are probably wondering what makes me qualified to
write about this subject. Let me tell you about myself and my
life and you can judge for yourself.
I am not a spiritual guru, or a healer or a master in yoga
or a clairvoyant. I have not had a mystical experience although
I hope to have one some day. My education has not been in
philosophy and meditation but in finance (I am a qualified
Chartered Accountant). However I have used the teachings - that
I will be showing you - in my own life and I have seen the
benefits for myself. These methods work – they have been
demonstrated in my own life.
As a child and adolescent I was lacking in confidence. I
wanted friends and to be popular and socially poised. I was
also a very repressed young man and used to block myself from
feeling and remembering unpleasant feelings and memories. I was
quite unable to think for myself and depended upon my books and
opinions of others on how to conduct my life.
My search for answers to my problems started more than 20
years ago. I was a voracious reader but my reading did me more
harm than good. I read many American self help books. But all
my reading served only to confuse my mind further. I was unable
to think for myself because of my neurosis and repressions. I
was never at peace with myself – always judging and condemning.
Also I suffered a certain amount of persecution by my family
and community. In Indian society you are expected to conform.
Anyone who does not do so – and who suffers handicaps as I did
– is made the target of ridicule and becomes more or less a
social outcast.
Fast forward to my situation now – 20 years later. I am now
well adjusted with my family and community. I have become a lot
more accepting of myself and others. I still do not have as
much money or as many friends as I would like but their absence
does not bother me much. I have a long way to go before I reach
the state of mind that the Buddha spoke of but I have started
the journey. I now have direction in my life and I can help you
find direction in yours.
And it has been Eastern Philosophy and its scientific and
rational approach to personal and spiritual growth that has
given me this direction. Eastern Philosophy has helped me
individually and – if you give it the chance – it can help
you.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could be truly happy, the way
the Buddha wanted for you?
The world situation is such today that spiritual growth is a
necessity and not a luxury. The world is faced with the threat
of terrorism, the so called clash of civilizations and is also
sitting on a stockpile of nuclear weapons that are enough to
destroy all life on this planet. We need to master our passions
and decide wisely to use our scientific inventions to the
benefit of all life on this planet. Also mindless consumerism
is rapidly depleting the resources of our beautiful planet.
This transformation needs to take place on a mass scale but
spiritual growth can only happen individually – one person at a
time.
Enough talk about me. This letter is about you, about how
you can expect to benefit. The ebook contains the gist of my
reading and thinking over the past 20 years.
Here is just small portion of the benefits you will
gain:
Deal with Stress
- You will learn to accept the fact that you are stressed
and not beat up on yourself because of it.
- Have the strength and fortitude to accept the loss that
you are fearing
- Have the strength of a warrior who pushes on towards
his goals regardless of obstacles or defeats
- Not be subject to the sense of compulsion. You will act
and work through the stress not because you have to but
because you want to.
- Get a sense of perspective both on your life and your
stressful situation. You will give it only so much
importance as it deserves.
- Enjoy life in your moments of rest without obsessing
about your work.
Have better relationships
- Have the strength to walk away from a bad
relationship.
- Learn to stand up for your rights in any relationship
in a straightforward and non-threatening manner.
- Sun Tzu said that Humanity and Justice are the
principles on which to govern a state. Learn to master your
passions and govern with Humanity and Justice if you are in
a position of authority.
- Gain self-confidence and lose your inhibitions so that
you gain social poise and skills. This will attract the
right man or woman into your life.
- Learn to be happy and self-sufficient. When you can
live independently and do not need to exploit or manipulate
others to fulfill your needs you will attract similar
people into your life and enjoy better relationships.
Self Confidence and Self Love
- Learn to accept yourself – no matter how you behave,
what you think, what you achieve or don’t achieve. I will
show you the exact line of reasoning that will enable you
to let go of false judgments and opinions of
yourself.
- Once you accept yourself you leave yourself open to the
possibility of change. It is easier to change – indeed it
is required for you to first accept yourself and give your
negative impulses room to play themselves out. Only then do
you have room to grow.
- You will become self-sufficient and independent through
self-acceptance. This will attract similar independent
people into your life.
- You will become more poised and confident
socially.
- Having let go of false judgments and opinions of
yourself you will be more at peace with yourself.
- Accepting and loving yourself will enable you to
accept, empathize with and understand others. This will
help your interpersonal relationships.
- Your inner peace and happiness will positively impact
all areas of your life. Your career, your relationships,
your family life, all these and more will be
benefited.
Dealing with anger
- A moment of anger can cost you a job, a relationship, a
prized contract or cause a traffic accident. We all need to
learn how to deal with it constructively – neither
unthinkingly repressing nor expressing it.
- Learn how to take care of your anger mindfully. Deal
with the pain constructively and grow.
- Some of us are in the habit of reacting with hostility
and rage in many situations that they dislike. This causes
havoc in their relationships, their career and life in
general. Learn how to reverse this life long
habit.
- Learn how our diet affects our disposition and what we
can do about it.
- Learn to release long term resentments and grudges that
may be poisoning your close relationships.
- Release and out grow petty resentments and frictions in
your relationships.
- Learn to communicate effectively and in a
non-threatening manner with your loved ones that solves the
problem you are facing rather than reacting with
anger.
- Learn the secret that George Gurdieff – and enlightened
master – called the biggest lesson of his life.
Death and loss of loved ones.
- Learn how pondering over death can unlock the mystery
of life. In the Buddhist tradition, all newly ordained
monks are sent to a cemetery for many months to ponder over
death. Understand the perspective on life that develops
through such a practice.
- Let go of the fear of death. Learn a Buddhist mediation
that will enable you to do so.
- Learn how to deal with and support the trauma of dying
loved ones. Cope with their panic, fear, rage, regrets and
other strong feeling that will arise in them at those
times. Make their passage from this world as easy and
peaceful as possible.
- Be at peace with the prospect of your own passing. If
you are – or know of someone who is – aged or facing a life
threatening illness learn to cope with the trauma and the
strong feelings that will arise.
- Deal constructively with your own strong feelings of
sadness, guilt, and regret at the passing away of a loved
one.
- Face up to the fear of death bravely. The present
culture in many westernized countries idolizes youth and
tries to brush old age and death under the carpet. It
ignores these necessary aspects of life completely. This
lead to a mindless consumerism because we are not at peace
with ourselves or the thought of our passing. Face these
fears and transform your life.
- Building Resolve.
The entire book is easy to read and follow and
understand.
Most of these benefits are beyond price.
For example poise and self confidence. It will help you in
your career so I suppose you could put a price to this aspect
of it. But it will also help your relationships, it may help
attract the right man or woman into your life. Most of all it
will enable you to be at peace with yourself at most times and
in most situations.
What price can anybody put on that?
